This class is intended for students who want to learn more about natural disasters that cause mass destruction to landscapes and communities. Students of all knowledge level are welcome to join this class. In this four-class course, students will explore tornadoes, hurricanes, earthquakes, and wildfires. For each type of disaster, students will learn about what causes these natural events to occur. We will also examine some specific cases studies that demonstrate the destruction and force of...
Students will gain a better understanding of natural disasters. Students will critically consider the impacts of these events and how communities handle these circumstances. Students will be able to explain what causes tornadoes, earthquakes, hurricanes, and wildfires.
I am a qualified and certified teacher with my teaching certification for intermediate and senior divisions in geography and history.
