課堂經歷

In this class you will learn how to fold napkins in five unique ways. You will learn these different fold techniques: the dinner jacket napkin, the corn on the cob napkin, the envelope napkin, the candle napkin, and a teachers choice napkin fold. Once you finish learning how to fold these napkins, you can wow your friends and family at your next meal. Napkins are an essential part of meal times, so you will also learn napkin etiquette and a little bit about the history of the napkin (spoiler alert: The first napkins were made of paper and used in China).

其他詳情

供應清單
1) You will need five cloth napkins that are at least 16” by 16” when laid flat and unfolded. You may use paper napkins but they need to be the proper size and might fold a bit differently than cloth. You can purchase napkins at your local thrift store or buy them inexpensively on eBay.
2) You will also need a 10 inch long piece of ribbon to make the bowtie for the dinner jacket napkin. I use 1” wide black or white ribbon but you can use whatever color you like.
3) Scissors
4) A dinner plate
5) Optional: 2-3 straight pins to hold the folds in place while you arrange the napkin or double sided tape.

Greetings!
My name is Ms. Brown. I teach etiquette, writing, editing, soft skills, reading, adulting, business, and leadership.
Like you, I love learning new things and value education for all ages. I believe learning happens everywhere and not just in a school room or university. If you open your eyes, ears, mind and heart, you can learn everywhere!
I have an associates degree in journalism and writing; a bachelor's degree in business management; and a masters degree in international relations and diplomacy. I also have certificates in digital media marketing as well as etiquette, manners, and international protocol.
I am the mom of a college age son who sometimes gets tired of his mom always correcting his grammar and table manners. And I have a very well behaved chocolate lab dog named Emily (after one of my favorite authors, Emily Bronte).
