Fellow Detectives,
Do you love mysteries and reading? Grab your magnifying glass and flashlight, and let's solve a mystery with Nancy Drew! This is a fun book club especially for girls, age eight to thirteen! Learners will read an assigned portion of the book in their free time before class. We will then meet together once a week for five weeks to discuss it. Learners will answer questions, give their personal opinions, discuss events of the chapter read, talk about their favorite parts, and more!

In this multi-day book club, we will meet once per week to discuss a portion of the Nancy Drew book, The Mystery at Lilac Inn. 

Each week, we will dive into a few chapters of the book and discuss the setting, plot, characters, and other literary elements. I will also ask learners what they like best about the story and their overall opinion of the story. This is a great opportunity for learners to share their opinions and practice their communication skills. They will also get to discuss something they enjoy with others that also do! 

We will discuss the clues Nancy and her friends have found. We will give our opinions and discuss theories and suspicions! I will use a slideshow presentation to guide us through the discussion. 

This is a great book club for those who love reading and love to share the love of reading with others. It's also a fun place to discuss anything and everything related to Nancy Drew! Not only will we discuss important aspects of reading, literature, and mysteries, but we will also have fun!
