I recommend keeping a pen/pencil and paper during class to jot down any questions and save them for designated Q/A times. This is, however, not a requirement.

These stories contain man-eating monsters (one of which exists because a human lady fell in love with a bull...), creepy visits to the underworld, death, dismemberment, kidnapping, fighting/bloodshed, deceit, kids blatantly disobeying parents, and more. I have adapted the stories to make them exciting and age-appropriate in terms of the language and "mature" content, but I'm not turning these into Disney movies - I will retain as much of the authentic myth as possible with child-appropriate language. Also, it’s worth noting that some events in myths are just plain WEIRD. I do my best to make these stories make sense to a modern audience while retaining the integrity of the Ancient Greek way of thinking.
