Each lesson is a combination of lecture, listening, and discussion about the material covered in the lesson. This course is 75% Music Theory and 25 % Ear Training. The students will work individually with the instructor to address their needs through practice tests and Ear Training exercises...
In a small group class setting, I provide each individual student the tools that they need to succeed in this course and have an open door policy that allows students and parents to discuss whatever shortcomings there are. Throughout my professional experience as a performing musician, it is important to be able to build the confidence of my students so that they can thrive in their learning experiences.
Students will need sheet paper, which they can receive a pdf version from the instructor.
