In this class you will learn about basic rhythms, an important part of music fundamentals. You will be able to sing, clap, play and read basic note rhythms. *This class is perfect if you are beginning a new instrument and would like to improve your music theory, that is understanding of the notes you are learning. You do not, however, need prior knowledge of music to book this...
-Students will be familiarized with basic music theory vocabulary: rhythm, quarter note, eighth notes, quarter rest, repeat sign. -Students will be to sing/clap/identify/ & create basic rhythm examples.
-Bachelor of Arts (Concentration Music) -Professional Violinist/Singer-Songwriter -10 years of professional experience teaching: (privately, public-school system, university summer courses.) -Solo & Ensemble Judge/All-Region -Experience playing in an orchestra ensemble, studio-musician for Latin-Grammy performers.
