課堂經歷
Welcome to Museum Detectives! In this ongoing mystery class learners will be introduced to a wide variety of artifacts from around the world. Students enrolled in this class will analyze primary source artifacts to determine 1.Where is it from? 2.When is it from? 3.Who used it? 4.What was it used for? 5.What does this tell you about the people who made and used it? 6.What does it tell you about technology at the time it was made? 7.What is a similar item from today? Images will be introduced in a wide variety of angles in order to allow the student to fully examine the artifacts, note any interesting markers, and allow them to fee fully immersed in history. Each class will conclude with a short lecture and giggle slides presentation on the artifact as well as allot time for students to ask questions and present their own findings. This class does not require any prior knowledge as my goal is to provide all students with access to unique and interesting experience as they explore history. Week of July 1st- Native American Arrowheads Week of July 7th- World War 1 belt buckle Week of July 14th- Dinosaur Tooth Week of July 21st - Native American pottery pieces.
