每週 1 小時. Students are encouraged to complete the Kahoot multiplication review activity outside of class using the Kahoot link I provide to enrolled students after each lesson. These links give enrolled students access to after-class multiplication practices that are related to the material learned in class that week.
評估
There is no formal assessment in this class. Students' knowledge of their multiplication skills can be gauged through playing the Kahoot game in class and after class. (If parents/students have a free Kahoot account a detailed report will be sent to parents/students after each class. This includes (correct answers/ incorrect answers/ unanswered questions). The report will also grade your child's work.

In this class, students will learn how to multiply 2-digit numbers by 2-digit numbers using their love of Minecraft. STUDENTS WILL NOT PLAY THE GAME MINECRAFT IN THIS CLASS.  This is a Minecraft themed lesson. 

The 2-digit numbers in the multiplication equations in class will range from (10 - 99). This class is designed to be an introduction to 2-digit multiplication equations. Students' knowledge of the multiplication facts (0-9) needs to be confident. Prerequisites to this class are the following: (basic addition skills, confident in recalling basic multiplication facts, and understanding of place value). This is a great lesson to introduce 2-digit multiplication to students who are struggling with the concept or for students who need some extra reinforcement! 

This class begins with students watching/listening to a short power point slide to introduce the concepts taught in the lesson. Students will then participate in a guided practice activity where they will practice completing 2-digit multiplication equations with me. Students will finish off with an independent activity using an interactive game on Kahoot I have made. 

It is recommended that students use a second device (cell phone, iPad, tablet) for Kahoot. Kahoot is FREE to use and there is NO download needed.  Also, do you do NOT need to make an account or sign up. I will send enrolled parents a link to the activity before class and I'll give a brief demonstration in class to parents.

父母的引導和規範
Students in this class will be using the website Kahoot. Kahoot will be used for students to be able to submit their answers to math questions in the lesson independently. Kahoot can be accessed using the link (https://kahoot.it/). No download is needed to use Kahoot in class and it is free. Kahoot is an approved third-party website/app by Outschool.

1. Students should be able to do addition independently. 2. Students should have most of their multiplication facts (0-12) memorized. 3. Students should understand place value (ones places, tens place, hundreds place).
Not an official Minecraft product. Not approved or associated with Mojang.
