In this course, students will be given guided practice problems to solve involving multiplying two numbers with decimals, including regrouping. This should not be the student's first exposure to this mathematical operation. Students will be given immediate feedback, guided error correction, and reteaching as needed during the class. Strategies such as using area models and/or a place value chart to find answers will be demonstrated as needed. Students should have a basic understanding of decimal place value before attending this class. Please schedule your sessions carefully, as missed sessions will not be rescheduled or refunded.

Hello! I have been teaching in the public school setting for the past fifteen years, and tutoring privately for the past six years. I have worked with students ranging from kindergarten to eighth grade in math, reading, writing mechanics, American History, and beginning Spanish.
