Minecraft is one of the most popular games in the world. Mixing it with multiplication makes learning way more fun.

For the first session, I will assess your current multiplication education level. Then, I will build off of that! It's okay if you don't know anything about multiplication, but it's also okay if you know all or most of your time's tables and you want to learn about multiplying numbers with multiple digits. The assessment of your current skills will only take about ten minutes. After that, we will jump into the lesson. 

A Typical Tutoring Session for Multiplication Beginners:
A typical Minecraft tutoring session is 40 minutes long. It will start and end on time. We will begin by reviewing multiplication problems. I will screenshare my "Minecraft classroom." My Minecraft classroom is a flat world with different multiplication stations to help review multiplication times tables and different facts about multiplication. 

Kids always love Kahoot games, so what tutoring session would be complete without it? I will share a Minecraft-themed Kahoot game pin with you so that you can practice your multiplication facts. You will also have access to this Kahoot after the class so you can practice independently. 

You will need a pencil and paper for this lesson because the next activity will be to write down some of the multiplication problems we've been learning during the session. We will also play a dice game to practice random combinations of numbers for multiplication problems. 

Finally, we will take a look at the multiplication chart and work on learning how to use it and practicing problems from it.

A Typical Tutoring Session for More Advanced Learners:

If you already know all of your multiplication tables, then the tutoring session will be a little different. We will start out working with the Minecraft classroom in my Minecraft flat world. We will work on reviewing various multiplication tables to keep them fresh in your mind. 

You will need a pencil and paper for this tutoring session as we will be working on multi-digit multiplication problems. Finally, like the beginner tutoring sessions, we will play a Kahoot game.
