Learners will review their multiplication facts or times tables for 0s through 5s over the course of a one week period. Learners will review what multiplication is, what it means, and the rules of basic multiplication. Learners will learn different strategies and "tricks" to solve multiplication problems. I will use slides, lectures, games, and video clips in my lessons to review with and engage learners. They will also learn a song for each of the tables to help them remember the facts. Each...
Learners will review and have a better understanding of their multiplication facts from 0s through 5s. Learners will apply different strategies or methods to help them remember or solve basic multiplication problems.
I have been a third grade teacher for going on 12 years and have taught a variety of multiplication strategies and methods over the years.

Learners should bring some form of manipulative with them to class for Days 2, 3, and 4. These can be anything from Cheerios, Legos, marbles, Cheez-Its, pennies, etc. to practice a hands-on approach.
