乘法數學營！學習使用策略和模型進行乘法

In this 1-week course, we will go over several strategies to help your student understand multiplication, not just memorize it. Each lesson we will go over the concept, I will then model the strategy, we will all work together to try a problem, then students will complete a problem on their own with my guidance as needed.

Our week will look like the following:
Monday - Overview of what multiplication is and introduction of equal groups model
Tuesday: Introduction of the array model
Wednesday: Introduction of the number line model
Thursday: Using the distributive property for multiplying 2-digit numbers

There will be no required homework, but extra practice pages will be given to help students review on their own time. 
The only materials needed are something to write with and something to write on every class.
