In this class, students will learn the basic concept of multiplication using their love of Minecraft. We will review repeated addition and how it is related to multiplication. (This class DOES NOT review the concept of ARRAYS. It is focused on grouping objects. Which is the most basic concept of multiplication.) This class is designed to be an introduction to multiplication. Student's knowledge of multiplication can be minimal to none. Student's ONLY prerequisite to this class is addition....

There is no formal assessment for this class. Students progress will be assessed throughout the lesson by answering questions out loud individually or as a group. Students will also be required to draw grouping pictures to model multiplication during the independent activities to demonstrate their understanding. Students knowledge can also be gauged through playing the Kahoot game at the end of class.提供的成績
In this class students will need to bring the following materials:
1. Something to write on (paper, marker board, chalk board, OR digital screen)
2. Writing tool (pencil, markers, crayons, OR colored pencils)
3. Second device to play Kahoot game on (tablet, iPad, phone)
