The start of class will be a review of all the multiplication facts for 3s. I will show multiplication questions to the class, and they will say the answer. After we have gone over all of the multiplication facts, I will share my screen and start a Blooket game that will only have questions of multiplication facts for 3s. This will include 0-12. There are various games that can be played as a group. I will ask the class which game they would prefer to play. The first game will last 7 minutes. Then I will start a second game, by again asking the students which game they would like to play next. This game will also last 7 minutes. This is a fun way for students to learn their multiplication facts. Students will answer multiplication questions about multiples of 3. If they answer the question correctly, they will get to advance their game. If they answer the question incorrectly, they will be prompted with another question. When I taught both 5th and 3rd grade, this was always the best way for students to learn their multiplication facts.

Students will improve their efficiency with multiples of 3. This will be done by repetition within an engaging atmosphere.

This is a kid friendly resource, where students will have to answer questions in order to play the game. This website is similar to kahoot, except they are able to answer questions at their own speed and challenge the other players within the game.
