Please take a look at the following list of book examples below to see if this class is a fit for your child. Your child does not have to be in this grade to take this class. Your child will: * Learn several reading strategies and how to apply them. * Gain an understanding of the story through comprehension questions. * Learn sight words through word work activities. * Practice fluency, vocabulary and phonic awareness. * Practice turn taking, listening skills, patience and social awareness. * Learn writing organization, sentence structure, punctuation.
