Hello, I am a teacher with 10+ years of professional experience in the classroom and online! With an ongoing subscription to this 55 minute group class, learners will have ongoing free access to my Mr. Johncraft license so that they can join me and others in a safe and secure world for our group class AND practice their skills independently with the game between classes. Minecraft Education can be downloaded for FREE on PC, Mac, iPhone, iPad, Android, and Chromebook. We will work together in creative mode, providing opportunities for learners to build friendships through collaboration and teamwork. Learners will discover the excitement of creating anything they want while exploring an infinite world filled with amazing biomes. I will provide tips and guidance so that learners can find anything they want in their inventory and make their imagination a reality! Learners will be given time at the end of each meeting to share what they have created. Learners are not allowed to intentionally destroy the work and creations of other learners in the world... we will be working together! Appropriate language is also expected during the class. Any learners who are breaking the rules will be placed in Visitor mode and/or muted. If a learner repeatedly breaks the rules, they may not be allowed in the class going forward. Grades: K-12 Minecraft can be used at any grade level to support and enhance instruction and learning. Minecraft is a complex game with potential for mild violence, so guardians should be aware of this before signing up.
The learner must download and install Minecraft Education Edition prior to joining the class on their PC, Mac, iPhone, iPad, Android, or Chromebook. Make sure you check the system requirements for Minecraft Education before you schedule this class if you aren't sure.
*Licenses can be revoked at my discretion if the learner violates Minecraft's usage guidelines and/or goes against any of Outschool's policies.

Learners should be familiar with the basics of Minecraft. If Minecraft is brand new to the learner, it is recommended that they first take my 1-1 tutoring class for Minecraft Education Edition.

I’m Mr. John.
I am a teacher who has worked professionally for 10+ years. With experience from Kindergarten up to Grade 8 in the classroom and online, I am also a Kindergarten Specialist with additional qualifications in Special Education, Music, and Mathematics!
I teach a Reading Class, a Minecraft Coding & Creative Class, and a Minecraft Survival Class for groups. I also tutor Accelerated English Programs for Early Literacy, Accelerated Mathematics Programs for Elementary and Secondary School Learners, Coding, Minecraft Education, GarageBand and more for 1-1 meetings.
My love of learning in my own life drives my passion for teaching. All learners are welcome! I encourage ESL, neurodiverse, and any other learners who think they may benefit from my programs to try them out!
With a room full of instruments, you’ll likely experience fun performances throughout our classes that can help keep things exciting and unique. I usually spend time in nature and with my family when I’m not teaching or jamming! Let’s learn together on Outschool!
