We will explore the beauty of watercolor and create this translucent mountains and waterfall painting. Students will learn to blend colors. Proper brush care will be discussed as well as how to blend colors with them. We will discuss what colors to begin a watercolor with, and why shading and hi-lighting are such an important part of a painting. We will have some basic colors to use and mixing our own colors will be encouraged. A little color theory is always thrown into the lesson. My...

Students should have some watercolor painting experience.

A set is easy to find a craft stores. We will use white, yellow, orange, alizarin crimson(red), purple, blue, green, brown and black.
