Social-emotional skills is JUST AS if not MORE important than academics. These are the building blocks for life-long skills that are needed everywhere, all the time, and with everyone!
Come join this FUN, completely interactive camp and practice these essential and critical social emotional skills while having a blast doing so!!! :)
Beware: Lots of giggles, laughter, and friends to be made!!
This group will be kept at 5 for a nice small group to feel more comfortable opening up and getting to know one another! INCLUSIVE and I welcome ALL learners. My background is with diverse learners, and Special Education. Please let me know if any modifications or accommodations are needed or anything that would be very helpful to know to help me guide learners and the group. I hope you can join!
*Games and order of games are subject to change based on the interest of each group and will only change on the basis of everyone agreeing or coming to a compromise. This has been very effective in my past classes and have allowed the kids to build upon their communication and social skills. I purposely take advantage of natural opportunities for this learning to occur.

DAY 2:
1. Follow the Leader Game!
2. If you were like me...(finding out what we have in common!)
Example: stand up if you like ice-cream
-Jump up high if you have a dog
Day 3:
1. Two Truths & a Lie
2. Charades
3. Hide and Go Seek -zoom style!
Day 4:
1. Catch Me If You Can - What's different?
2. Scavenger Hunt

Please make sure learners have adequate space especially for when we will get up and dance! Preferably closed shoes/gym shoes for optimal safety.

Hello! I'm Ms. Jennie, and I am SO excited to begin teaching on Outschool! I have 5 years of teaching experience in the public schools (Preschool-2nd) as a certified Early Childhood Educator/Special Ed. (with ESL and LBS 1 endorsements). I have experience in a variety of classroom settings including self-contained settings, small group and individual interventions, and Preschool For All to name a few.
