In this one time class, students will explore what happens when paint colors get mixed together. We will read the book "Mix it Up" by Herve Tullet and see his amazing photographs of paint. This will be a lively and interactive class as students predict what happens on the next page. Students will explore their knowledge of colors and what primary colors combine to make the secondary colors as well as how to lighten or darken colors. Students will expand their knowledge of colors and discover which colors mix to create new colors. Students will explain what happens to colors when you mix in black or white. Students will discuss their favorite colors. Students will hear the book "Mix it Up" by Herve Tullet. Students will enjoy learning about colors in our lively class discussion.
