課堂經歷
This high energy class is an introduction to the basic techniques of Mixed Martial Arts. Techniques from Boxing, Muay Thai, Karate, Tae Kwon Do, Jiu Jitsu and Israeli Defense will be taught individually and combined into combinations. Workouts will begin with a fun warmup to prepare the students for class. The main focus of class will be teaching skills like blocks, punches, kicks, elbows, knee strikes and ground defense. Classes will also include discussion on the philosophy of “Might for Right” and other important life skills like Focus, Discipline and Respect. Students are encouraged to push themselves to be their best. No prior experience is required. This is an ongoing class with curriculum changing weekly. Week 1: Date 1/13/2021 Theme: Intro to MMA Warmup Focus discussion Body positioning Basic blocks Basic arm strikes Basic leg strikes Ground defense “Might for Right” discussion Week 2: Date 1/20/2021 Theme: Close Range Defense Warmup Focus discussion Review positions Star block set Elbow strikes Knee strikes Punch defense “Might for Right” promise Week 3: Date 1/27/2021 Theme: Extended Strikes Warmup Focus discussion Positions Arm strikes Leg strikes Ground positions Wrist grab defense “Might for Right” promise Week 4: Date 2/3/2021 Theme: Combinations Warmup Focus discussion Positions Blocks Combinations of arm and leg strikes Shoulder grab defense “Might for Right” promise

父母的引導和規範
Parents should observe all classes to be aware of techniques being taught. I encourage parents to practice techniques with students outside of class. Please make sure proper workout attire (t-shirt and shorts) is worn. Socks are not recommended as they may cause the child to slip. Make sure that students have an area clear of obstructions so they can safely practice kicks, punches and ground techniques.
