Learners will work together via Zoom to create their own moving robots. We will begin with a discussion of what a robot is and how we encounter them in our everyday lives. We will discuss what a circuit is and how they work. Then learners will follow the steps to create a working circuit to power their robot's motor. We will work together to assemble these and attach them to the base we will create with a popsicle stick and two toothbrush heads. Learners will then add decorative elements...

*A large popsicle stick *Cell phone motor (https://www.amazon.com/Tegg-Vibrating-Vibration-Mobile-10x2-7mm/dp/B07P6NCV4N/ref=sr_1_8?dchild=1&keywords=cell+phone+motors&qid=1587836757&sr=8-8) *Two toothbrush heads *Cutting pliers to separate the toothbrush heads from their handle *Wire stripper (students might possibly need this to be able to attach the wires from the motor to their battery) *A CR-2032 battery *Tape *Hot glue gun (low temperature will work well) *Decorative materials like wiggle eyes and plastic spangles
