About the Class:
-In this ongoing class, we will work through Human Anatomy Coloring Book by Margaret Matt.
-Each week we will color one page and discuss the topic in more detail to help it come alive and be more memorable to the students.
-My teaching week runs Monday to Sunday (so on Sunday, I'm covering the same topic as I was the week previous and change to a new topic on Monday).

Class Details
-I will use models or videos as appropriate to the topic and we will also review the areas on our own bodies when possible so that students will have a "model" they can take with them wherever they go.
-I will discuss some physiology or medical stories to help the areas discussed be more meaningful in the larger context.
-As a physician, I'm able to provide more a personal and tailored context for the students.
-We are not doing the book strictly in order as I think certain topics make more sense in a different order.
-The classes are each stand alone and do not build on each other, but your student will get a more complete understanding of the human body by attending every week.
-When we finish the book, I'll start back at the beginning so that your student can finish their own book.

Your student will not be coming out of this class knowing anything about how to diagnose or treat any conditions and we will not be discussing any personal medical questions/needs. Students should come with general questions about the topic.
