In this course I will teach learners the introduction to the cosmetology world with 3 topics. Topics that will be covered are hair cutting, hair coloring, hair washing/styling. My class structure has 2 main phases. The first phase is classroom learning, this phase will be all about the introduction to hair. The second phase will be hands on learning skills, this phase will give learners a chance to mock (practice). How I will teach my class is a step-by-step method with simple lectures, basic learning skills, and lastly, hands on practice. My teaching is directed towards promoting fun/educational skills. No knowledge is required. * If you would like your learner to be fully engaged in the course, please ensure that a mannequin with human hair is provided for the learner. NEW SESSIONS WILL BE LISTED SUMMER 2025

Learner's safety is my #1 priority, parent or guardian must be in attendance when your child is using the hair dryer and shears (scissors) for safety precautions. Tools that will be needed will be used for the benefit of the child to get a hands-on experience on how to maintain and have fun by learning about hair.
Materials can be purchased online or at your local hair store of your choice.

📃Materials that will be needed are as followed💈: Hair color (Semi-Permanent, 20 Volume Developer, Bowl & Brush) Please note: If you get BOX DYE is not the same formula as professional hair coloring Gloves (required) Towel or Cape 1 Mannequin Head (Human hair recommended) (Best to get Brown or blonde head for best results when coloring the hair.) 4 Hair clips 1 Rat tail comb or any comb on hand Shampoo and Conditioner Blow dryer Paddle brush / Round Brush 2 big bowls (For hair washing) 1 Mannequin head stand 1 Hair Shears (Hair cutting scissors) Spray bottle (Please feel free to message me about products I use to better help)
