The US Census divides the United States of America into 4 regions - a total of 50 states and 1 federal district. Region 1 is the Northeast. Region 2 is the Midwest. Region 3 is the South and Region 4 is the West. During the class, the student will share their Minecraft builds while writing what state facts were included in their build. Throughout the eight weeks, the teacher will provide fun weird but true facts on a particular region and its states. This will include what state it is from and any other information that is relevant for the class. These facts will be delivered by region, in the form of a video-lecture and/or posts. The lecture will be fun, and the class will let students learn facts which make learning about each state a bit more fun. The teacher will also create a fun game relating to the states covered each week Lastly, the student will pick a specific state or federal district to complete a creative Minecraft build - one per week - based on information discussed in class. Minecraft builds could include state flag, state bird, state flower, state tree, historical figure from that state, agriculture, state minerals, state or national park, attractions to see, weird but true trivia facts, or place of interest representing that state. Region 1 which includes Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania (9) Region 2 which includes Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas (12) Region 3 which includes South Carolina, North Carolina, Texas, West Virginia, Virginia, Delaware, Georgia, Arkansas, Maryland, Alabama, Louisiana, Kentucky, Florida, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Mississippi, Washington D.C. (17) Region 4 which includes Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, Utah, Nevada, California, Oregon, Washington, Alaska, Hawaii (13) Through the image share option in the classroom, student will be able to show images of what they built during class. Student is welcome to use any platform they have access to and will be building on their own. Student can use the image share option to post a video as well, if they want, if they are on a computer or a screenshot of the completed build needs to be taken and uploaded to the device being used to sign in for this class. If student is using a platform that is played on a handheld device (like an iPad or Nintendo Switch), they are more than welcome to just take a picture of the screen and post that picture to the class.

教師專業知識和證書
I teach unit studies, gameschooling, and life skills. I have extensive knowledge on how to work with special needs or special "abilities" persons who learn outside of the box due to my own life journey and the adventure of parenting special abilities' children.
My professional background is in social work since 1982. I have worked as a preschool teacher. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with specialties in mental health, substance abuse, and geriatrics. I have worked with ages 2-101 years old. I have homeschooled since 2002.
I value each person's individuality. I love to help others find their strengths and support. My teaching is eclectic, just like each person is. The definition of eclectic is "selecting or made up of what seems best of varied sources." The.key word in that definition is "best." I want to bring out the "best" in each student.
While homeschooling my children, I found "gameschooling." Gameschooling is the joy of using games to reinforce educational subjects. I absolutely love playing board games, card games and dice games. I have over 300 games in my home and growing.
