I have been playing Minecraft for over 11 years. I have beaten the game multiple times, even in hardcore mode (Hardcore - if you die in Minecraft your world is lost)! Minecraft is one of the greatest games for creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork! I'm excited to help your adventurer complete their goals!

Minecraft is rated as an "E for Everyone" game by the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB). However, it does contain some mild fantasy violence. You should be aware that the game involves combat against virtual creatures like zombies, skeletons, and the Ender Dragon. PVP will be disabled unless students desire to battle. Because this class takes place on a private Minecraft server, your learner will interact with other Minecraft students. As the instructor, I will be able to monitor and hear all communication through Zoom. Minecraft in-game chat is also an option. Minecraft Usernames/Gamer tags will be visible to other players in the same course. Griefing in this class is not permitted. I will promptly remove the student from the group.
