課堂經歷
In this 4 day course, we will bring your Minecraft ideas to life through narrative writing and meaningful illustrations. Together, we will learn how to develop a setting, plot, characters, conflict, and resolution. Are you ready to bring your ideas and creativity to life? Session 1: Brainstorm - Students will use a graphic organizer to plan out characters, setting, and the problem/solution. Session 2: Planning/Start the comic - Students will organize the beginning, middle, and end of their plot. We will discuss using different types of layouts for the pages. Students will begin their comics. Session 3: Continue the comic - Students will continue working on their comic book panels. Teacher will meet with students individually during class to provide extra help. Session 4: Create covers - Students will discuss what makes a great cover and start making their own cover for their comics. OPTIONAL Day 5: Present: Students may record a short video on our private "FlipGrid" classroom page of them reading their comic book! Students will have the opportunity to share their book with the class through our FlipGrid page! This will be a private webpage where students can easily record a video or audio segment showcasing their hard work. *All class times are approximate. Class lengths can vary based on the ability of students and how full the class is.*
