This class will provide students with an introduction to strategic concepts, principles of war and tactics. In this overview of general military concepts - the students will glean excerpts from the major strategists: Sun Tzu, Machiavelli, Clausewitz, Liddell Hart and review brief case studies of these concepts in practice. Students will also review the Principles of War to better understand the classic tactics which have guided commanders from Thutmose III to General Patton. Military...

I hold a Master's Degree in Military History (Land Warfare) from American Military University and am a certified History teacher with 30 years experience. Plus I really like Military History.
