I designed this multiplication class using the best modern research.  We take pencil to paper, sing songs, watch videos, play games and we practice "number sense".  Don't just memorize...understand the numbers.  
  
When students take this course, they should already understand multiplication and have previously learned the multiplication facts.

We start with a Question of the Day to get student's brains engaged and to build community.  

After each class, I assign practice.  The home practice is an important part of the process.  This class takes some work, but, it's worth it! 🍁

I get to see their faces, and I'm able to tell if they need more direction, assistance, explanation, etc.  Secondly, when the students are fully participating, the class becomes more student-driven rather than teacher-driven.
