In this one time class, students will learn essential skills for success in middle school. We will learn how to organize materials for different classes, use an assignment book, open a combination lock, study for tests, deal with friendship issues and more! The class will include direct instruction in each of the skills mentioned with plenty of time for questions and answers. Students often have many worries about starting middle school. This class is designed to alleviate some of those worries and help them to feel comfortable and confident starting the school year.

Students will learn:
- How to organize materials for multiple classes (color coding, labeling ect)
- How to use an assignment book or planner
- How to open a combination lock
- How to deal with common middle school friendship issues
- How to study for tests
