I have been teaching science for two years and have over ten years of experience in informal science education work at children's museums, science centers, planetariums, and natural history museums. I have completed three college courses on science education as well as college-level courses on conservation education. I have worked at and led educational camps and workshops on  planets and space in a variety of settings. I received the top grade and became a peer tutor in a college level astrobiology course. 

Sources will include articles from National Geographic, BBC, Scientific Journals,  and Encyclopedias adapted to grade-level.  We will also be using some resources adapted from Open Educational Resources "Middle School Earth Science Textbooks including Thunderbolt Kids Fifth and Sixth Grade, "Introduction to Earth Science", , CK12.org,  and Stanford Edu's "Learning through Application" textbook. All of which are distributed under a Creative-Commons Attribution License which allows for commercial use.
