Eating well and maintaining our body's health should of course be our number one priority. However, as we get older and life becomes a constant juggle, this is often one of the first things to slip. We get distracted or busy and realize at 10:30pm that all we had to eat was a pop tart that morning at 7am. Naturally, cooking and cleaning can sometimes take more time and effort than we have. Of course, this doesn't mean that we can't plan our meals, just like we plan our days. Utilizing the skills that Meal Planning and Meal Prepping provides, allows you to spend less time in the kitchen overall, while still eating healthy, delicious meals and snacks. In this at home class, we will work through not only meal prepping but planning as well. Each week we will have a brief lesson on how each meal is planned out, and how to create a stockpile of recipes that can be filtered through the months. We will then spend time, picking one day a week, to accomplish all of our meal prep. This prep includes chopping, cooking, preparing, and sectioning out meals to help our weeks run smooth. Each section listed in our syllabus will begin with an instructional video on how to make meal prep and planning work for you. Then we'll get cooking! Along with recipe cards, you'll have a video companion where I will be taking you step by step on how to cook and prepare everything. Each week will have a variety of options that can be interchangeable. For example, lunches can be had for dinners just as easy and snacks can be had for breakfast if you so choose. Each item will have a delicious outcome and be not only filling but healthy. Of course, we'll have a sweet item in there too. The goal of this class is to show learners that with a little time and effort, they can have all their meals planned out and ready to warm up, saving both time and costs in the process. Each recipe can be adapted to support those with food allergies as well as dietary preferences. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.

This class is designed to help learners with anxiety, Dyslexia, ADHD, ADD and ASD achieve their goals. Our classroom is a safe, comfortable environment where learners are encouraged to ask questions and make each dish their own.

Hi there! I’m Tabitha Rivera and I am happy to meet you. A little about my background, I have a degree in English and Creative Writing and have been an online teacher for 6 years now. I also have 18 years teaching experience in a classroom setting in daycare, tutoring and homeschooling. I love learning and believe that everyone should have something fun to learn and grow with. I enjoy fostering in a student’s learning by providing thought-provoking out-of-the-box lessons that keep my learners asking questions and thinking long after the lesson is over. I also believe that learning should be fun! My classes provide hands on lessons that get my students moving and learning in new environments. My favorite part of teaching is answering my student’s questions and seeing them make new discoveries while following their passions.
I currently live in New Mexico with my daughter and 2 dogs. In my free time I enjoy working on writing my book, reading, traveling, cooking and baking. I also love to learn new languages and about every culture. I currently can speak 6 languages and look forward to adding more to my collection.
