Are you ready to have some fun while socializing with peers as you practice multiplication facts? In this ongoing course, students will participate in weekly games to practice multiplication facts and build fluency while interacting in a fun, social, virtual environment. It's ok if you don't know how to play as we will review the rules before each game. Each week will focus on a set of multiplication facts. Students will work out the multiplication facts at their own pace, while having fun and socializing with peers. There will be no instruction, or lesson in this course. Students may come and go as they please as this is an ongoing course. 2023-2024 Weekly Schedule: Week of Sep 4: Multiplication Facts 0, 1, 2 Week of Sep 11: Multiplication Facts 3 & 4 Week of Sep 18: Multiplication Facts 5 & 6 Week of Sep 25: Multiplication Facts 7 & 8 Week of Oct 2: Multiplication Facts 9 & 10 Week of Oct 9: Multiplication Facts 11 & 12 Week of Oct 16: Multiplication Facts 0, 1, 2 Week of Oct 23: Multiplication Facts 3 & 4

Gimkit will be used during for each session. Gimkit is a classroom game platforms where students compete by answering questions on their electronic devices. Learners will NOT need to create an account for Gimkit. Rather, an access code will be provided to students to participate in the games.
Nearpod may be used briefly before class. Nearpod is an interactive classroom tool to engage students by adding interactive activities to lessons like polls, collaboration boards, and game-based quizzes. Learners will NOT need to create an account for Nearpod. Rather, an access code will be provided to students.
