A solid foundation with arithmetic operations is critical for becoming a proficient math student.  Fluency with adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing decimals will set learners up for success when working on higher level topics in mathematics, such as solving equations with rational numbers and operations with scientific notation.

I will provide examples, supporting activities and clear directions for students to seamlessly follow through each lesson. The student should take notes as they move through the lessons, as this will help them understand the examples and complete the activities.  I will also be available to answer questions posted in Outschool messages- response time is typically within 24 hours. The goal is to complete these activities within 4 weeks; however, the time can be extended if necessary.

Upon completing the activities, the student will have strengthened skills with their decimal operations, as well as making steps towards algebraic connections which support math proficiency.
