Weekly Schedules Week 1: What are fractions? What are it's parts called? What are Equivalent Fractions? What are the different types of fractions? Week 2: Adding and subtracting fractions with the same denominators and what to do when they are not the same. Week 3: Multiplying and dividing fractions. Week 4: Real life problems and how to solve them using operations with fractions. Students will find this course easier if they know their multiplication facts. However,if your learner struggles with this, a times table on hand would be very useful. The lesson material will be taught by Teacher Bob with the use of PowerPoint presentations and a virtual whiteboard. We will also spend time in class going over problems for practice and reinforcement. There will be opportunities for student questions to be answered. I have taught in the classroom for 25 years and know how important it is to have small classrooms like this one to enhance student learning.
