課堂經歷
In this class, I will provide your learner with a fun and interactive 1:1 tutoring experience. We will cover any math topic up to include Algebra 1, Geometry, Statistics and Pre-Calculus. The student will bring any homework, notes, or study materials needed for the lesson. If the parents needs a topic covered, but there is no physical work, that is okay! Please contact me with the topic and I will create a lesson just for your learner! *LATE/MISSED CLASS POLICY* All courses will begin on time as long as one learner is in the classroom. In the event that no students are in the classroom at the assigned class time, the teacher will leave a message on the discussion board and exit after 10 min. Class recordings are available upon request. *TEACHER FEEDBACK* I would love for you to leave me feedback on how I did as well! It will really help me grow and develop my presence here on Outschool! If you don’t think this class earned 5 stars, please message me! *Refund/Transfer Policy* Per Outschool policy, there are no refunds for missed classes. I will be glad to transfer your learner to another section but require 24 hours' notice. This timing is necessary in order to fill the spot you are vacating. If I transfer you on short notice, I may not be able to fill your original spot, which means you are taking up two spots but only paying for one. Hi, I'm Lakeithia but you can call me Ms. Kei! I have my Bachelors of Science in Psychology and a Masters in Public Health. I also have completed course work in Applied Behavior Analysis and was a Behavior Specialist for 2 years. I am certified in Special Education (K-12) and Algebra 1.
I have been formally teaching for 8+ years working with students in special education and high school. During this time I have taught Biology, Algebra 1, Learning Strategies, and Social Skills. Outside of teaching I have worked with students from ages 2 -22 for over 6 years.
I enjoy teaching and love seeing students achieve their goals. I believe that all children can learn and should enjoy learning!
Fun Fact: I have an awesome Beagle name Bert that loves to snuggle
