Please send me a message with the math topics ( 3 topics maximum to fit in our 30 minutes class) that your child needs help with. We begin the lesson by watching a fun math video on the main topic of the day for the tutoring session to encourage math discussion. We will practice various questions on the specific topic(s) identified. Suggested strategies to help with retaining and applying learning are shared and practiced. During the lesson, I will share suggested free online games to help your child to practice these skills. I incorporate Kahoot, IXL, Open ended questions and multiple choice questions, along with Brain POP and Numberock songs to practice math skills. If you would like to make this an ongoing weekly session, please reach out to me via message. I will be happy to accommodate and will share a progress report update with you monthly of your child's progress. Please note as skills are mastered, we can always create new goals.

Hello, I am Ashley Belmont. I am a certified elementary school teacher and I teach elementary level classes. I have been in education for 10+years. Currently, I am a Kindergarten teacher at a public school. I have been a Kindergarten teacher since 2016. I have worked with a wide range of learners as a Basic Skills teacher with students in Grades 1 through 5. I assisted them in literacy and math back in 2014-2016 in my current school district in New Jersey. I genuinely believe learning should be fun and engaging. I incorporate different activities to make learning fun and engaging. Students can retain information and grow academically and socially when they feel safe and happy in their learning environment and that is what I strive to do every day in the classroom and online.
