This class is for students in grades 3-6 who require 1:1 tutoring in math. I can focus on the student's needs in 2 different ways: 1.) Parents can let me know, ahead of time, what area in the math curriculum the student needs help For example: - the recall of addition/ multiplication facts -understanding mental math strategies -understanding of an operation such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, or division -number sense -geometry -problem-solving -estimation -any other...
After taking these lessons, students will be able to: -feel comfortable working within areas of math in which they have been struggling
I have taught mathematics to students from the ages of 8-13 years old for several years in a public school setting, plus 1 year online with a struggling math student. I have my B.Ed degree.
