This NEW version of my popular class includes "number sense".  Don't just memorize...understand.  
  
This class offers well-structured, supported practice so students can really learn the multiplication tables -- no more adding in their heads or or on their fingers.  When students take this course, they should already understand multiplication and have previously learned the multiplication facts.

I've done a lot of research in planning this class, and am constantly improving and updating it.  We will sing songs, watch videos, play games like Kahoot!  This class is highly interactive, and everyone will have a chance to participate!  As well, students will take pencil to paper.  After each class, I assign practice.  The home practice is a very important part of the process.  This class is a lot of work, but, it's worth it! 

Students feel confident in math when they acquire this valuable skill.  It is a confidence that will stay with them for the rest of their lives.  

We will follow a detailed schedule each class, so being on time is extremely important.  Each lesson builds upon the others, so it's also important to attend each class.  

Week One:  Learn 0, 1, 2, 10
Week Two:  Learn  5, 11, and practice
Week Three:  Learn 4 and practice
Week Four:  Learn 6, 3 and practice
Week Five:  Learn 7 and practice
Week Six:  Learn 9 and practice
Week Seven:  Learn 8, 12 and practice
Week Eight:  Kahoot! game and final quiz

About the zoom video:  When students keep their videos on, there are a couple of benefits. I get to see their faces, and I'm able to tell if they need more direction, assistance, explanation, etc.  Secondly, when the students are fully participating, the class becomes more student-driven rather than teacher-driven. 

Each lesson builds upon the others, so it's important to attend each class.  This class is highly interactive, and everyone has an opportunity to participate!
