In this class, students will learn a variety of strategies to be successful mathematicians. Students will develop a math tool kit of strategies in order to successfully face any math problems. Students will also develop positive ways of thinking about math and becoming true problem solvers. The basics of math will be gone over and reinforced through small group practice. We will go over addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and word problems predominately in order to bolster their mathematics computation skills and allow them to feel more successful and positive about math.
