課堂經歷
This class is focusing on First Grade Curriculum and will be given over the course of two semesters (Fall and Spring). The topics covered will be counting into the 100's using various forms such as by 2s, 5s, and 10s. Addition and subtraction facts, money, time, place value, measurement, and fractions. Three digit numbers, graphs, and problem solving will all be used. In August/September we will cover 100's charts: how to use them. We will count by 2s, 5s, 10s. We will cover sets, and patterns. September/October we will go over addition and subtraction and introduce money. October/November we will go over time, place value, and measurement. November/December problem solving and place value expansion. January will be critical thinking days in Math

Hello! Salve :)
My name is Mrs. Webb-Adamo and I am originally from Phoenix, Arizona where the 120F heat surprises me EVERY year. My family and I just moved back from Italy, from my husband's hometown to mine (in Az).
I love to travel and over the last 12 years have been able to teach ages Pre-K through Adult in America, Italy, Japan, and online . I have been able to teach all subjects, mainly in the ELL classroom AND of course, now, at home.
I am a mom of two lovely, energetic, picky children (21 months and 4 years old) and have been homeschooling my oldest for the last two years.
Because my children are bilingual, I created a curriculum in Italian to coincide with her English home schooling and it excites me to be able to share with others. I have also created special core subjects using strategies that have helped my own students succeed.
I have always tried to have a class be fun, engaging, and at the level of the students (whether they be parent or child ) with a lot of interaction and hands-on learning. From experience, children that are able to take "control," of their learning leave with a higher level of confidence and are more likely to become self motivated.
I am blessed to be able to teach, love it, and I cannot wait to meet you in class!
