Welcome world travellers, I hope you're ready for a great big adventure.

Join teacher Mel and your new friends as we set off on an around the world trip where we'll learn all about adding, subtracting, decimals, fractions, multiplication, division and more! 

This class is designed to introduce and familiarize students with topics such as multi digit addition and subtraction, place value, decimal places, halves, quarters, multiplication, and so much more! We'll explore these topics while pretending to be world travellers exploring new and exciting countries each week. Students will work together to solve math problems set in each different location.

This class is perfect for those that loved Math Club for Adventurers, or any young learners that might otherwise find their math classes boring or scary. I make math fun and enjoyable for all students by encouraging active participation from each learner.

If students are not yet confident doing adding and subtracting within 20 they may prefer Math Club for Adventurers where we build those skills in order to tackle the bigger problems in this class. Please reach out if you have any questions.

• During week 1 students will review place values.
• During week 2 students will review adding 2 and 3 digit numbers.
• During week 3 students will review subtracting 2 and 3 digit numbers. 
• During week 4 students will do a fun interactive activity reviewing all prior material.
