This one time summer themed class will challenge students to solve a variety of math problems, using an escape room format. Students will work together to find  all of the clues that will solve the riddle and lead them to the secret password and enter the water park. They must find all of the clues and decode the riddle in 30 minutes.  Math problems are at first and second grade level and involve a variety of concepts, including addition, subtraction, data, time, and geometric shapes. Students will be encouraged to interact with peers to solve the problems; teacher will ask guiding questions and offer possible strategies if the group is stuck.
