Hello! Welcome to this fun and engaging math class! I will begin each class by explaining and Illustrating the math skill, and then students will have time to complete guided practice! Next, we will review the skill together and students will take turns explaining it! I love helping students become confident in their math knowledge! This class meets on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday! On Tuesday, we will discuss the definition of a fraction! Students will learn to illustrate fractions as well as to create equivalent fractions! On Wednesday, students will learn to convert between improper and mixed fractions, as well as to add and subtract fractions with like denominators! On Thursday, students will learn to add and subtract fractions with unlike denominators! Please bring paper, markers and pencils to class; thank you! Please message me with any questions or to request a different time for this class!
