數學 - 加減乘除 - 趣味測驗

Here we will study arithmetic math in four 30 minute lessons over four weeks. This means taking a deep look at how to successfully add, subtract, multiply and divide. We will start off with learning the basic rules. We will then apply these to easier examples first, then harder examples as the lesson progresses. By the end of the class you child will have an idea how to do arithmetic with difficult large numbers. For example in the division class we will learn how to do short division. At first we will apply the newly learned method to a 2-digit division. By the end of the lesson will will divide 3-digit numbers. Throughout the lesson many fun engaging quizzes will take place. 

Here the course will cover three topics:

Week of 03/06/2024: Addition 
Week of 10/06/2024: Subtraction
Week of 17/06/2024: Multiplication
Week of 24/06/2024: Division

No previous experience or background knowledge of arithmetic is required. The only background knowledge that the student should have is to have understood the basic concept of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division . For example know how to add together using fingers,. It will be my job to teach the correct methods that can be applied in all cases.

Everyone will feel welcomed in the class as we will start with a brief introduction. Learners who enrol late into your class will also feel welcomed as they will be introduced at the start of the class. Learners will get to interact with each other taking in turns to answer the quiz questions. 

The class is structured first with listening and learning. Then applying what we have learned to examples. Then we will have one-minute fun challenges and quizzes to test what we have learned.
