Are your students starting to multiply? Have they been doing multiplication for a while but still have never seemed to be able to master it? Do they understand their multiplication for their 1-3 but they struggle after that? In this class, your students will start their journey to master multiplication. This class will walk your kids through tips and tricks for multiplication problems from 4X1 to 6x12. We will look at skip counting, arrays, repeated addition, and patterns to see different ways that we can think about multiplication. Then we will have some practice on multiplication facts with a fun online task card activity. The structure of the class will be as followed. First, introductions. Next, tips and tricks for mastering multiplication. Last, practice with boom cards.

Students will learn different ways to think about multiplication facts from 4x1-6x12.

Students will be using boom cards. If they have never used boom cards before they may need your help navigating there, but I will provide a link that they should just be able to click on.
供應清單
We will be working with Boom Learning for practice. However, students do not need to create an account. I will give them a link that will allow them to do the practice without an account. Students should also have paper and a pencil with them so they can follow along and take notes.

Hello, I’m Angela AKA The Truthful Tutor. I have been a tutor for the last 12 years.
I love my job and love working with all the students that I have come across. My passion in life is making sure that students have the tools that they need to succeed and learn everything they can.
Since being a tutor, I have learned many tips and tricks and want to make sure that those tools can get into the hands of students through tutoring, so they can tap into their potential.
The most important thing that I have learned is that success begins early. The earlier that students are given the tools they need to succeed the better that they will do.
I have lots of experience with students with a number of different abilities and neurodiverse students. I have experience with blind students, autistic students, students with ADHD, etc. If your student needs any accommodations to make this class more accessible for them please feel free to reach out and I will make these accommodations to the best of my ability.
