Math requires hands-on learning, especially when children are learning a new concept. In this review of place value and teaching of the concept of borrowing. We will use manipulatives to help learners grasp the important concept of place value and show how that relates to borrowing. This will be followed by learning two-digit borrowing. We will continue to progress to more difficult borrowing concepts.
