This weekly camp goes over various topics and provides learners the practice they need to master basic math concepts. Each class will cover topics that will help your child build their foundation of basic math concepts. Topics include: adding and subtracting, telling time, counting money, shape recognition, skip counting, etc. This class meets twice a week. For each class, there will be mini-lessons on the weekly concept and then either individual or group practice depending on the number of students. We will play games, create manipulatives and share ideas. Data and Graphs. Learners will help to collect data and create a graph. Practice worksheets and exercises will be available at then end of each week. 🟣Topics Covered in Class🟣 Skip Counting/Finding Patterns on Hundred Chart Odd/Even Numbers Strategies for Adding - Ten Frames, Counters, etc. Strategies for Subtracting - Take Away, Number Line, etc. Calendar and Days of the Week Shapes and Easy Fractions/Parts of a Whole Money (USD). Identify coins and their values Telling Time (based on 12 hours AM/PM). Data and Graphs Measurement 🟣Section Schedules🟣 TUESDAY/THURSDAY 2:00 PM EST - Week of April 3: Spring Math - Find the Missing Numbers - Week of April 10: Number Games - Week of April 17: Place Value - 10 less, 10 more - Week of April 24: Birthday Week - help Ms. Jocelyn celebrate her birthday with fun math games - Week of May 1:

Hi friends! I cannot wait to learn with you! I earned a degree in Early Childhood and Special Education. Currently, I live in Michigan with my husband and our fur babies. You may even see a guest appearance from some of them!
I believe that learning should be fun and exciting! Learning something new should transport us into a new world where we can use our imaginations to grow ideas. Children need movement and exploration to develop skills- even through a screen! My classes focus on building from the ground up. If we do not have a solid foundation, then we cannot build up too high. My classes are learner focused and I adjust difficulty based on student and parent feedback.
My job as an educational facilitator is to model and provide students with the tools they need to be successful. I am very excited for us to work together to learn skills that we can carry with us on our educational journey.評論
