Letters “c” and “k” both make the same sound, /k/. Learning when to use one letter or the other at the beginning of words can be tricky, but it does not have to be! In this engaging phonics class, students will be given a fun visual tool to help them remember when to use letter c and when to use letter k at the beginning of words. 5 worksheets that will be posted in the classroom prior to class Pencil Eraser Scissors Glue Crayons, Markers or Colored Pencils (Optional) ** Please make sure you have paper and pencil if you are unable to print the worksheets from class. *** It is highly recommended you print the worksheets for class to get the most out of the valuable activities.
Class will be guided with a slideshow by sharing my screen with students. No additional sources are necessary for class. *If your young student requires assistance using scissors, please plan to provide support near by for one of the hands-on activities. Please be advised your student will be asked to use scissors for one of the activities, and you may wish to provide supervision to avoid any potential hazards. **Printing worksheets prior to class is highly recommended for students to get the most out of the valuable activities created just for this special class.
