課堂經歷
This is a fun, discussion-based class for kids who love X-Men! Each week, students are asked to view one X-Men movie on their own before class. During class, I will present a slideshow featuring key scenes, characters, and thought-provoking questions. Students can participate as much or as little as they feel comfortable. Our discussions will cover: *Character analysis *Story arcs *Major events and timelines *Favorite and least favorite scenes *Easter eggs *Any other student-driven topics related to the movie Movie Availability: The X-Men movies can be found on Disney+ with one exception: X-Men: Days of Future Past, Rogue Cut, which is available to rent on Amazon Prime for $3.99 or may be found on other platforms like Vudu or Hulu. While Deadpool, Deadpool 2, and Logan are part of the X-Men timeline, these R-rated movies will not be included in our viewing or discussion due to age restrictions. Schedule: Week of 1/12-1/18: X-Men: First Class Week of 1/19-1/25: X-Men Origins: Wolverine Week of 1/26-2/1: X-Men Week of 2/2-2/8: X2: X-Men United Week of 2/9-2/15: X-Men: The Last Stand Week of 2/16-2/22: The Wolverine Week of 2/23-2/29: X-Men: Days of Future Past Week of 3/1-3/7: X-Men: Apocalypse Week of 3/8-3/14: X-Men: Dark Phoenix Additional Notes: This class is inclusive of learners of all abilities. If your student needs special accommodations, please message me, and I will gladly work with you. There is no required homework or written work for this class—just watch the movie and join the discussion!
