During this class we will explore the what makes octopus and squid unique in the animal kingdom. We will learn about their habitats, behavior and anatomy with a live class dissection. Through our dissection we will explore the squid organ systems function and location. We will compare and contrast these structures to other organisms in the animal kingdom. While dissection is not required, students are welcome to dissect their own specimen during the class time. The recording to class will be posted for student reference.
